Double=walled liquefied gas vessel - has inner and outer vessels continuously curved in side view

The double-walled vessel, circular in plan view, is for the storage and transport in particular of gases liquefied at normal pressure, e.g. natural gas, having an inner primary vessel and an outer secondary safety one of prestressed concrete, together with a heat-insulating layer between. In side view, both vessels (2,3) are continuously curved in membrane shape. The inner one (3) can be a closed pressure vessel, of metal such as steel ductile when cold, and secured at the base to a stiffening plate of reinforced concrete so that it cannot slide in relation to the latter (6).
