The invention relates to a spring-balance device, especially of pocket size up to a maximum load of 10 kg, in which the mass to be weighed is received underfloor by a load hook. The aim of the invention is to produce a spring-balance device with increased properties for practical use and at a low economic outlay. The object of the invention is to guarantee all-round readability and to equip the balance with protection against overload and against rotation and with an adjusting device. The essence of the invention is that a carrier plate receives all the parts of the spring-balance device and is designed so that it is provided at the top with an attachable angle piece and with a carrying ring rotatable about the vertical axis. It possesses, furthermore, a tare screw screwed in a stirrup, the stirrup containing on the left and right screwable adjusting pins which are connected to vertically arranged measuring springs. At the lower end, the carrier plate is designed as an overload stop. <IMAGE>
