<p>The top, bottom, cover and side rebating, an extremely widely upward-drawn cover rebate piece, and a centre span piece with concave downward curve, are incorporated in an interlocking tile. The convex and concave units are comprised together in one unit, the whole forming an acute-angled parallelogram in plan, with acute angle of at least 88 deg. In the base side rebate corner, the tile has a corner out cutout (486). In the direction of the head rebate piece, the depth of this is such that a base rebate rib (423) covers the whole centre span piece and the head-side edge of the cover rebate piece, so as to produce a horizontal head dividing joint gap across the whole tile width, when on the roof. There is no widening in the head side rebate corner, and roof skin is well sealed all round.</p> |
