An automatic dialing device which stores a plurality of dial data in a memory, reads desired data from the memory and transmits it. A conventional automatic dialing device has a RAM for temporarily storing a plurality of dial data. This dialing device has a limited storage capacity and, disadvantageously, cannot keep a telephone number secret. Further, data stored in the RAM is erased in the event of a power failure, so it is necessary to rewrite the data every time the power supply is interrupted. This automatic dialing device employs a fixed memory (8) such as an ROM in a cassette and a system for inserting and connecting the cassette to a socket (22) provided in the dialing device body (1), and accordingly has an increased storage capacity and eliminates all the above disadvantages of the conventional dialing device. Further, data reading and writing functions are simultaneously provided in the body (1), and an automatic dialing device which can be very conveniently handled has thus been completed. In addition, a telephone number display unit (4) is provided in the dody (1) to ensure data storage and dialing transmission without mistakes. |
