PURPOSE:To facilitate the handlement of a semiconductor light emitting element and to enhance the shape accuracy of the element by forming a stem of a frame shape integrated with many pairs of supporting leads. CONSTITUTION:Many pairs of supporting leads 12a, 12b are branched from a bar-shaped substrate 10 forming a stem 11, and are integrally coupled with a stationaly arm 13. The ends of the leads 12a, 12b are bent or formed with pads of thick part, and thermoplastic resin base 14 is engaged to project externally the ends 12c, 12d. A semiconductor light emitting element 15 is mounted at te one end of the lead 12a, and the element 15 is connected to the end of the other lead 12b via a bonding wire 16. The element 15 and the bonding line 16 are sealed with the base 14 by resin seal 16. |
