A microscope having two different, mutually interchangeable nose-pieces (3'', 3') is specified by the invention. The plane of rotation of the first nose-piece (3'') is inclined in the direction of the microscope arm (1), that is to say faces the latter, and the plane of rotation of the second nose-piece (3') is arranged at an inclination averted from the arm.
