PURPOSE:Hot melt bonding fibers, consisting of a copolyester having a specific composition, readily made into fibers by the melt spinning, and having a high adhesive force to a polyester knitted and woven fabric without problems in the passableness property in the after-treatment. CONSTITUTION:Hot melt bonding fibers constituted of a copolyester consisting of (A) 36-84mol% terephthalic acid (lower alkyl ester), 14-1mol% isophthalic acid (lower alkyl ester) and 50-15mol% aliphalic dicarboxylic acid (lower alkyl ester) as dibasic carboxylic acid components and (B) 80-20mol% ethylene glycol and 20-80mol% 1,4-butanediol as glycol components, and having an intrinsic viscosity >=0.5 and a melting point of 100-160 deg.C. The fiber strength is >=1.5g/D and the fiber elongation is >=10%. |
