<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a decorative board having a distinct beautiful pattern, by printing a pattern onto the smooth surface of a paper sheet coated with a thermosetting resn which can adhere closely onto the first thermosetting resin constructing the decorative board, applying the first thermosetting resin onto the sheet, and hot- pressing the resin onto the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A paper sheet 1 acting as a printing sheet substrate to print a pattern is impregnated or coated with the first thermosetting resin constructing a decorative board and the second thermosetting resin adherable by hot-press. At least one surface of the sheet is made smooth. After dried, the sheet is formed into a sheet substrate 2 provided with a smooth surface 21. A pattern print 31 is applied onto the sheet substrate 2, to obtain a printed sheet 3. A required number of core sheets 5 impregnated with the first thermosetting resin are put under the printed sheet 3, while an overlay sheet 4 impregnated with the third thermosetting resin is put on the printed sheet 3, so that the printed sheet 3 is sandwitched between the core sheets 5 and the overlay sheet 4. In this state, the printed sheet 3 is pressed along the direction shown as the arrow and heated. Thus, the decorative sheet is obtained.</p> |
