Laid-flat thermoplastic tubing, particularly heat-shrinkable film, is drawn from reels to one welding and cutting station, where their lengths are welded across the width and separated. Two conveyor belts, one each side, are inclined downwards towards each other as in a trough section, and guides for the tubing are arranged in or above this section. Different webs of tubing can be fed together to the welding/cutting station. |
