PURPOSE:To improve reliability by providing a data processing device with an improved environmental condition in such a manner as to remove dust generated in operation, by providing a serial printer with a dust collecting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A dust-collecting mechanism, which is so designed as to connect dust intakes 10 and 50 to a dust-absorbing device 40 through conducting tubes 20 and 60 and a detachable dust filtering device 30, is installed on a serial printer, and by making the intake 10 collect all the dusts generated in a paper feeding section 110 and a printing section 210, and also by making the intake 50 collect all the dusts generated in a paper stack section 110 and a paper cutting section 210, thereby the occurrence of any trouble caused by the dust is prevented. |
