摘要 PURPOSE:To improve output characteristics and life characteristics of an electrode by mixing water-soluble organic solvent in uniform mixture of fine grains of catalyst and fine grains of fluorine contained resin, and adding water-soluble organic solvent for agglomerating them after removing produced air bubbles. CONSTITUTION:Water-soluble organic solvent is mixed in uniform mixture of fine grains of catalyst 7 and fine grains of fluorine contained resin 3, and they are kept standing, where air bubbles produced while mixing the organic solvent are removed. After the air bubbles are removed, organic solvent is added, so the fine grains of catalyst 7 and fine grains of fluorine contained resin 3 are agglomerated. A catalyst layer 5 for an electrode where the fine grains of catalyst 7 and fine grains of fluorine contained resin 3 are uniformly scattered can thus be obtained, and, as a result, a three-phase interface where catalyst, electrolyte and gas contact with each other is enlarged, thereby output characteristics and life characteristics of a fuel cell and improved.
