PURPOSE:To control pulse width through an applied voltage through the operation in ultrasonic speed, by providing a variable capacitor in parallel with an inverter for feedback, in a monostable multivibrator consisting of two NAND or NOR gates. CONSTITUTION:A signal pulse of a monostable multivibrator consisting of NAND gates 21, 22 is inputted from an input 211. In steady state, the input 211 is at 1, an output 213 is at 0, and 223 is at 1 for stable operation. When a pulse 0 inputs to the input 211, the output 213 is at 1, and the output 223 is at 0 after the delay time tpdN of a NAND gate, this output returns to the input 222 of the gate 22 after a tpdi(where; the tpdi is set delay time of an inverter), the output 231 is at 1 and the output 213 returns to 0 for stable state. The potential at a terminal 26 is controlled with varactor diodes 241, 242 consisting of Schottky barrier diodes provided in parallel with the input of the inverters 231, 232 to change the delay time of the inverter and the pulse width. |
