PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy correction of characters, by correcting an error with an input of only the correct character after the end of read of a card after confirming the position of the error. CONSTITUTION:A card is read at a reading part 1, and the data is fed to a writing circuit 12 via a switching circuit 11. In this case, counters 6 and 17 advance character one by one. If a reading error occurs, the contents of the counter 6 is recorded to the counter 7. When the reading of the card is over, the error is informed. Then the operator pushes a correction key 3 on a keyboard 2. As a result, the value of the counter 7 is set to the address counter 17, and the input character is written into a display memory 15. A display part is indicated by figure 14. In such way, the corrrection of error is facilitated since having-in of the corrected character is only required. |
