PURPOSE:To reduce the load of the CPU of a host computer, by transferring the data given from each terminal through a terminal control device to the host computer after storing these data until they reach a prescribed quantity in a data totalization system. CONSTITUTION:Terminal control parts 21 and 22 which can work independently from each other are provided to a terminal control device 2, and they have parallel working. Each of these parts 21 and 22 has a table for voting slip sale and payment and return control. Storage parts 21a and 22a of the parts 21 and 22 store temporarily the transaction data given from terminals TE1-TE3, and these data are transferred to either one of CPU10 and 11 of a host computer when the quantity of data reaches a prescribed level. Thus the CPUs 10 and 11 have not to perform a transfer of data to the parts 21 and 22 until the transaction data of a prescribed quantity are stored in the parts 21a and 22a. This can reduce the load of the CPU. |
