PURPOSE:To obtain a member for transfer with superior toner transfer efficiency by forming a surface tacky layer composed of solid or liq. raw silicone rubber as a base and a tackifier such as specified silicone varnish, raw silicone rubber or silicone oil. CONSTITUTION:A coating composition is prepared by adding a tackifier selected from 1- or 2-pack condensation type silicone varnish or its modification product (a), 2-pack condensation type or addition type cold-setting or thermosetting liq. raw silicone rubber (b), solid raw methyl-, phenyl- or vinyl-silicone rubber (c) and silicone oil with >=10,000cs viscosity or its modified product (d) to 1-pack cold-setting liq. or solid raw silicone rubber or solid raw methyl-, phenyl-, vinyl-, phenylvinyl-, fluoro- or nitrile-silicone rubber as a base. The composition is applied to the surface of a member 5 for electrophotographic transfer and set to obtain a member 5 for transfer having a long life and superior cleanability. |
