PURPOSE:To achieve a still picture with good S/N ratio, by detecting the still picture from dynamic picture in common use of memories and executing the still picture playback operation. CONSTITUTION:The picture information, e.g., in frame unit is read out and reproduced 13 from a recording medium 12, in A/D conversion 14 and given to a write-in circuit 16 via a synthesis circuit 15 and stored in a picture memory 17. The unit picture information stored in this memory 17 is read out corresponding to the write-in address at a circuit 18 and picked up as an analog state picture information at a D/A conversion circuit 19 and reproduced as the still picture and applied to the circuit 15 and added and synthesized with the picture information from the circuit 14. Thus, a plurality of frame information of the medium 12 is added every playback repetitively at the circuit 15 and stored and set to the picture memory 17 with average. |
