<p>A dial and sleeve type combination lock is provided with a shift member to move the sleeves out of coupling engagement with the dials for changing the combination of the lock. The shift member is operated by depressing a manual actuator portion thereof in an opening in the lock casing and the shift member includes a cam surface which moves the sleeves out of coupling engagement with the dials responsive to depression of the manual actuator portion by reaction of the shift member with an internal surface of the lock casing.</p> |
