PURPOSE:To make level adjusting operation easy by penetrating a rod for a level adjusting leg of measuring instruments vertically through a casing, and mounting an adjusting knob to the top end thereof in a position higher than the top surface of the casing. CONSTITUTION:A rod for a level adjusting leg of a measuring instrument is disposed in a manner as to penetrate vertically through the inside of a casing, an adjusting knob is mounted to the upper part thereof in a position higher than the top surface of the casing and a screw part mounted at the lower part of the rod is provided in a manner as to screw to the screw part fixed to the casing. For example, a rod 21 for a level adjusting leg is disposed in a manner as to penetrate through a casing 1, and an adjusting knob 8 is attached to the upper part thereof in a position higher than the top surface of the casing 1. Further a screw part 21a screwing to a chassis 12 is provided in the lower part. To adjust a level, the user removes a placing tray 2, and while observing a level vial 5, he adjusts the knob 8, and the level is easily adjusted. With this construction, height H3 is kept small, and the instrument is made compact. |
