PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive control method using simple constitution, by detecting a copy feed position and the relative position of a receiving shelf, starting collating action from the reasonable position of the shelf, and using shelves other than that used for collation in interruption copying. CONSTITUTION:The address of a bin group 2c of a collator located at a copy feed position is denoted by A, a number of bins by B, and a number of the parts to be assorted, by P. At that time with respect to relative magnitude, 3 cases are considered. When P<=A, the first copy of the first original is received in the bin at the copy feed position, the bin group 2c is moved successively by one pitch in the left direction, and stopped after the movement of (P-1) pitches. Then, the bin group 2c is moved as shown by the arrow C in the figure, and at that time the copies are collated one by one with the bins of the number P. By the other cases, a similar process is also carried out. When interruption copying is operated, collating motion is suspended, and bins not used for collation is used. These controls are executed with a given electric circuit, thus its constitution to be made simple and inexpensive because the home position of bins is not set. |
