PURPOSE:To make the operation of a camera easy with simple constitution by making a focus detector working status at the 1st operation of a shutter releasing member and releasing the shutter at the 2nd operation. CONSTITUTION:When a camera is faced to a subject and a shutter releasing button 33 is depressed slightly, the releasing member 35 is shifted down and the switch SW1 of a focusing device 12 is turned on. The device 12 measures the distance between the device and the subject A and illuminates a suitable zone mark, 8 for example. The operation member 3 is shited while illuminating the zone mark 8 as it is to make an interlocking indicator 11 match with the zone mark 8. A lens barrel 6 is projected by the movement of the operation member 3, completing the focusing. When the shutter releasing button 33 is depressed more deeply, the shutter is released by the operation of the releasing member 35. Thus, the operation of camera can be made easy with the simple constitution as mentioned above. |
