PURPOSE:To contrive excellent performance and reliability of an isotropic magnet and improve its industrial productivity and practicality by immersing a R-Fe-B system powder which is made with a very rapid cooling in an organic resin having a coefficient viscosity that is less than a specific one. CONSTITUTION:Basic composition of a magnetic powder obtained by a very rapid cooling technique is shown by a R-Fe-B system. In such a case, Y, Nd, Pr, La, Ce, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Eu, Sm, Cd, Pm, Tm, Yb, and Lu are included in R. This powder is immersed in an organic resin having a coefficient of viscosity of 2000 CPS or less and it is pulled out of its treatment vessel. When the powder comes to a state where drops of organic liquid attached to its powder stop falling outside, its powder is inserted in a desired metal mold and is shaped by pressure. Thus, an isotropic permanent magnet exhibits favorable magnetic characteristics in an atmosphere of a room temperature or more and then it can be molded into a desired form. And further, its practical resistance to oxidation and magnetic performance as well as its industrial productivity, that is, the low production cost are achieved. |
