PURPOSE:To obtain a thin strip yoke which has excellent soft magnetic characteristic large saturated magnetic flux density and high wear resistance by melting Fe-Co- Si alloy containing Fe as main ingredient when forming a yoke for an electromagnet, and injecting the metal on a roller to supercool the metal. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnet is produced by laminating a high magnetic permeable alloy thin plates made of Fe-Co-Si alloy to form a yoke 1, forming facing projections 1a via a gap A at the center and winding a coil 2 in the cavity. The yoke 1 is composed by enclosing a heating tube 11a with a heater element 11b as a heater 11, and providing a gas guide tube 13 for surrounding the heater under the tube 11a. Thus, the tube 11a is first raised, alloy material 15 made of Fe, Co, Si is filled therein, is then heated to be molten, and the tube 11a is then lowered to into the tube 13, the metal is then injected from a nozzle 11c provided at the end of the tube 13, is thus adhered onto the surfaces of twin rollers 12a, 12b, is supercooled, and a thin strip yoke is formed. |
