PURPOSE:To increase the error correction ability, by adding the error detection code to discriminate whether PCM signal or parity signal is in error or not. CONSTITUTION:PCM signal series SL1-SL13,parity signal series SP1-SS1, and pointer signal series SQ are fed to the mixing circuit 24, being into the signal series of one channel, which is further fed to the time axis compression circuit 25. At the timing when PCM signal of R1,L2,R2,L3,R3 and P1 and S1 parity signal are fed to the delay circuits 22a-22g, the PCM signal at the timing before it and the parity signal produce the output of the delay circuits 22a-22g. CRC code to the total 8- word of the ouput signal of the delay circuits and L1 is formed. The PCM signal in 6-word, parity signal in 2-word and CRC code are fed to the synchronous mixing circuit via the circuits 24 and 25. |
