<p>The dental surgery appts is of modular construction, having a number of handpieces or tools each connected to supply wires or pipes, and modular units separate from the handpiece supply unit accommodating the handpieces when not in use. Switches and controls as necessary are provided on the hand-pieces, and whip-type return devices retract the hoses etc when not in use. Brackets on the supply unit accommodate the modular units.
