<p>Straightening guide for winding machines fitted with friction roller used for spooling of artificial silks. The spool holder shaft is located in a hydrastic guide which consists of a fixed horizontal or slightly inclined guide track which is surrounded by two adjustable opposing surround grips with pressure pockets which contain a fluid supplied from a pressurised system. Each surround grip contains at least six pressure pockets and, in the direction of adjustment, at least two pockets are arranged behind each other. A direct guide is thus provided requiring a minimum of driving power for winding large amounts at a high speed. It is free of wearing effects and damps vibrations.</p>
