摘要 <p>Mineral fibre mass is comprised of mineral fibre conglomerates bonded together with a coupling agent. Pref. the binder is a cold-curing organic binder which pref. hardens at below 60 deg.C. Suitable binders are e.g. polyurethane, epoxy or polyester resin systems. Pref. the binder has a maximum viscosity of 1000 cPs, esp. at most 500 cPs. Pref. at most 10 wt.%, esp. 4-10 wt.% binder is distributed over the fibre conglomerates and the fibre mass has a density of less than 130 kg/cm2, pref. less than 100 kg/cm2, esp. 40-90 kg/cm2 and partic. 60-70 kg/cm2. The fibre masses are less dense than mineral fibre masses made using hydraulic inorganic binders are easier to cut to side. The prods. have excellent thermal insulation properties and can be moulded into shaped parts or introduced into a cavity in a wall unit to form an insulated panel.</p>
