<p>PURPOSE:To increase the line speed by inverting a material to be transported on a conveyor line with an inverting device having two pairs of parallel belt conveyors. CONSTITUTION:An inverting device is interposed between a carry-in conveyor 12 and a carry-out conveyor 13, and the drive of the carry-in conveyor 12 forces a transport material (m) to be put between belt conveyors 10a, 10b. Cylinders 7a, 7b are simultaneously operated to reduce the interval between specific contact members 9a, 9b to clamp the transport material (m). The operation of rotating means causes a machine frame 1 to rotate in a 180 deg. arc to invert the transport material (m). After the specific contact members are restored, the belt conveyors 10a, 10b are driven in an opposite direction so as to feed the transport material (m) to the carry-out conveyor 13 with it inverted.</p> |
