<p>Sliver can, for use with a spinning machine, with a container where a rounded flange or end runs round the open top. A spring is inserted in the unit ranging from the base to an upper support platform. The rim of the support section fits in the inner surface of the rounded flange. The design prevents the support plate from tipping when the can is empty, so that no sliver material can drop into the zone between the support plate and the base of the can.</p> |
