PURPOSE:To enrich an essential nutrient metallic element of a micro organic algal body, by adding essential nutrient metallic ions to an aqueous solution of a water- soluble extract of a microorganic algal body, and forming a chelate combined substance. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution containing essential minor nutrient metallic ions, e.g. iron, iodine, cobalt, manganese, zinc or molybdenum, is added to an aqueous solution of a water-soluble extract from a microorganic algal body consisting of a chlorella extract, yeast extract, etc., and the resultant mixture is then allowed to stand for a while. In this stage, the free amino acid in the microorganic algal body and the metallic ions form a chelate. The resultant chelate combined substance is then dialyzed to remove the unreacted metallic ions. The substance is concentrated and dired to afford the aimed product. |
