PURPOSE:To improve controllability of tilt down operation for an outboard engine, by vertically providing guide parts, resiliently adaptable with a stop lever, along each of the stopper parts. CONSTITUTION:An outboard engine, when desired its tilt down, is turned upward to locate both lower end parts 27a of a stop lever 27 above the uppermost stopper part 16d, then a control lever 29 is lifted to locate the both lower end parts 27a of the stop lever 27 in the rear side 17a of each guide part 17. And then the outboard engine is turned downward by its own weight, thus the both lower end parts 27a of the stop lever 27 are slided downward in a resiliently adapted state to the rear side 17a of the guide part 17, finally detached from the bottom end of the guide part 17 and reset, resulting in the normal state of cruising by the outboard engine. |
