<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the height of a tape recorder, by locating a head group lower than a tangential line of reels. CONSTITUTION:A tape guide 3 is provided between reel stands 1a and 1b. Capstans 4a, 4b are provided near a tangent 11 in common to the external circumference of reels 2a, 2b. The running path of a tape 5 is formed almost along the external circumference of the reels 2a, 2b with the tape guide 3 and the capstans 4a, 4b. Further, when the tape 5 is allowed to press-contact on the capstan 4a with a pinch roller 10a, the tape 5 runs toward the arrow A in a constant speed, and when a pinch roller 10b is allowed to press-contact on the capstan 4b, the tape 5 reverses in a constant speed. Thus, since no head groups 6a, 6b are provided lower than the tangential line 11, the height 1 of a tape recorder can be decreased.</p> |
