PURPOSE:To especially improve AE control by switching average photometry and partial photometry in response to luminance distribution of a subject along with execution of luminous control of an auxiliary light source if necessary. CONSTITUTION:Each photometric signal is given to operational amplifiers OA1, OA2 respectively and to this operational amplifiers logarithmic conversion elements TR1, TR2 are connected separately, thereby allowing photometric signals of light detecting elements BVs, BVa to be subjected to logarithmic companding. Outputs from amplifiers OA1, OA2 are, through a pair of analog switches, to an output terminal BVo. Along with this, outputs of both operational amplifiers are inputted to comparators CO1-CO3, thereby allowing a comparative action to be done. An output from the comparator CO1 among them is used at normal AE photographing and an output from the comparator CO3 at day light flush AE photographying to permit the analog switches to turn on an output of the comparator CO2 is used to light electric flash as auxiliary light. |
