The equipment destroys insects such as cockroaches, and incorporates a vessel containing liquid, a bait support, and a tilting mechanism comprising a support plate resting on the vessel edge. A smooth plate tilts about tongues engaging in notches in the support plate. The bait support comprises a trough (21) fixed to a U-shaped bracket (22-27) fitting over the edge (24) of the vessel (10). The bracket incorporates a socket for mounting the support plate (30), in which a tongue (36) extending downwards from the support plate fits.
