PURPOSE:To obtain an exchange system which is able to execute in parallel plural kinds of communication, by connecting terminal equipments by a main trunk path of one circuit and a sub-trunk path of one or more circuits. CONSTITUTION:When a calling party takes up a transmitter and receiver of a telephone set A of a terminal equipment T1, a calling signal (a) is sent to a terminal control equipment X1, and the equipment X1 sends a calling signal a' to a local switch L1 by making a trunk L11 a loop state. The switch L1 sends back a dial tone (b) through the trunk L11 after a dial-tone connection has been completed, and the control equipment sends out a plural trunk connecting special number (c). Subsequently, a path for reaching a control switch N from the switch L1 is set, the switch N sets a sub-trunk L12 which is used for connecting mutually nontelephone system terminals, in accordance with the information from the equipment X1, and after that, when the switch N receives a dial of a number of a terminal equipment to be called, from a calling party, a terminal control equipment X2 in a terminal equipment T2 to be called is caught after setting a path to a local switch L2. After that, mutual communication between a telephone equipment and a nontelephone terminal is executed. |
