<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the electric regulation of the position of height for a magnetic tape to a magnetic head and vice versa, by making use of the effect of a magnetic tape (test tape). CONSTITUTION:A test tape 1 consists of a nonrecorded part 2 having width l2 and a recorded part 3 of frequency f1 having a fringe effect of a comparatively low frequency 100Hz or the like. The gap of a magnetic head 4 is l1. When the position of height is regulated for a magnetic tape, the reproduction output of the magnetic head is indicated to a voltmeter. Then a control is carried out to obtain the minimum indication of the voltmeter.</p> |
