Grit spreader for road - has two hydraulic pumps synchronising vehicle and spreading cylinder speeds

The spreader has one hydraulic motor (8) attached to the road wheel (7) while a second hydraulic motor (5) is attached to the chassis with its drive shaft fixed to the spreader cylinder. Both motors are linked to a reserve fluid tank (9). One motor (8) acts as a pump drawing this liquid down then forcing it through the motor. The road wheel can be raised using a two way jack and counter weight and there is a clutch either between the wheel and pump or between the motor and the spreader cylinder.
