PURPOSE:To reduce the number of terminals for address designation, while providing ease of usage of a semiconductor storage device of static system, by using one type of latch signal only in common use of address input terminals. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of a storage element 1 which addresses the crossing of row and column through designation, X address latch 10 which fetches and stores the X address signal applied first among the X and Y address signals applied in time division to a common input terminal 3, X address decoder 2 which decodes the latch output and selects the row of the storage element 1, and Y address decoder 5 which decodes the X, Y address signals applied to the common terminal 2 and designates the column of the storage element 1. The address signal applied to the common input terminal 3 is applied to a Y address decoder 5 via a Y address buffer 14. |
