摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain long life of a mask for a printing pattern by printing and applying conductive paste obtained by making solid adhesives to a liquid with a solvent at room temperature over the one surface of a substrate of one side of a liquid crystal display element and further applying with printing a sealing material, after drying the solvent with evaporation. CONSTITUTION:In a sealing method for the upper and lower substrates of a liquid crystal display element conductive paste is formed after printing and applying on a substrate of one side conductive paste that was made to be a liquid from solid adhesives with a solvent at room temperature using a thin mask for a printed pattern made of stainless steel and after drying. Further, by using a mask for sealing material printing, a sealing material is applied. A substrate applied with this conductive paste sealing material is joined with the other substrate and is sealed with injection of a liquid crystal. Thus, without mutual adhesion of the other coating agent to a mask for conductive paste application and to a mask for sealing material application, and without loss of the mask caused by removal of adhered matters, life of the mask is prolonged. A liquid crystal display element with low cast and high quality is obtained.
