PURPOSE:To execute a substitute call by a switchboard so that both subscribers are called automatically at the time of clearing of an incoming subscriber, on behalf of an outgoing subscriber, by requesting a substitute call service from the outgoing subscriber, when the incoming subscriber is busy. CONSTITUTION:When a subscriber H calls a subscriber A and the subscriber A is speaking with a subscriber B, in case when it is desired to call again automatically and immediately after clearing of the subscriber A, when one figure of a specific dial is turned as a service request signal, a service request is received by an outgoing and incoming switchboard 2b, an outgoing subscriber's number is made a service registering signal through a route which has been caught at present, and is sent to an outgoing and incoming switchboard 2a through a repeating switchboard 8. In accordance with this signal, a processing equipment 5a writes a registering number in an address corresponding to the incoming subscriber A in a subscriber's memory 6a, and when a request receiving tone is sent to the outgoing subscriber, it is off-hooked. After that, immediately after clearing of the subscriber A, the service registering number is read out, at first the subscriber H is called, the subscriber A is called secondly, and the service is started. |
