PURPOSE:To correct error components in measurement with accuracy, by providing an arithmetic control unit and performing prescribed calculations using the induced signals of two adjoining coils which have been selectively excited. CONSTITUTION:An exciting signal is impressed on a coil 12 at the center of a detector 10 while the fluid to be measured is in a stationary condition. At this time, the induced signal of one coil 11 out of the two adjoining coils is denoted by V1 and that of the other coil 13 is denoted by V2. Then the imbalanced component Vub becomes V-V2 or V2-V1. Next, an exciting signal is impressed on the coil 12 at the center of the detector 10, while the fluid to be measured is in the flowing state, and both the adjoining induced signals of coils 11 and 13 are taken in to calculate the difference between the two signals. The calculation results are compensated by calculation using the imbalance component Vub. Through this constitution, error components can be efficiently corrected by compensation. |
