MANUFACTURE OF MEMBER FOR OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING AND REPRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To form unevenness with good reproductivity by injecting a resin cured by ultraviolet-rays between an original disk provided with the unevenness previously and an optical transparent base material and by curing it by ultraviolet-ray irradiation. CONSTITUTION:An original disk 8 provided with unevenness previously and a base material 4 transmitting ultraviolet rays are piled across a spacer 9, and an ultraviolet-ray curing resin 6 is injected without generating air bubbles and irradiated with ultraviolet rays 11 from an ultraviolet-ray generation source 10 via the base material 4 to form a resin layer 6. After the original disk 8 is peeled from the resin layer 6, tellurium or the like is deposited on the resin layer 6 by a vacuum depositing method. This method copies the unevenness shape of the original disk with good reproductivity and makes anisotropy hard to occur in the resin, so optical orientation is hard to occur, lessening the generation of curvature due to stress.
