<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer film with superior suitability to fixing of a toner, writing, running, etc. by using a matted polysulfone resin film having coeffts. of kinematic friction and static friction and surface resistance each regulated to a specified value and specified surface roughness. CONSTITUTION:Polysulfone resin represented by the formula (where n=50-80) is blended with an inorg. additive such as SiO2 or TiO2 or an org. additive such as zinc stearate having 5nm-5mun average particle size by 0.01-20% to the amount of the resin, and the blend is melted and extruded to form a film. One side or both sides of the film are matted to >=1.0mum surface roughness by sand blasting, surface saponification or other method. The resulting film has 0.6-2.0 coefft. of kinematic friction, 0.8-2.3 coefft. of static friction and 1X10<10>-1X10<15>OMEGA surface resistance. Because of 20-65% opacity the film is easily detected when jammed in a copier.</p> |
