PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain a solar battery having a reverse flow preventive layer having good performance by growing a solar battery layer and the reverse flow preventive layer on a lower electrode by using the same amorphous Si, forming the reverse flow preventive layer as a light shielding structure and forming upper electrodes on the respective layers. CONSTITUTION:A lower electrode 4 made of, for example, Al, Mo, Cr, etc. is covered on a substrate 4 made of, for example, glass, quartz, stainless steel, etc., and a semiconductor layer 3 using amorphous silicon becoming a thin film solar battery is grown on the electrode.
