PURPOSE:To conduct the light of a wide wavelength region comprehensively or selectively by constituting a fiber bundle with >=2 kinds of optical fibers of different transmission wavelength regions. CONSTITUTION:With an optical fiber bundle 10, light of a wide wavelength region made incident from the root side is divided to the beams of light of wavelengths corresponding to respective fibers by respective optical fibers 11, 12, 13, and these beams of light are conducted to the sides of branch parts 15, 16, 17. At the end face of the part 15, only the light of the transmission wavelength region of the fiber 12 is obtained, and similarly in the parts 16, 17, the light of the transmission wavelength regions of the fibers 13, 11 is obtained. Hence, the bundle 10 has the effect of a simple spectral filter, and conversely it also has the effect of condensing the beams of light from plural pieces of light sources of different light emission wavelength regions to one. |
