PURPOSE:To make charging by using conventional exchangers without any modification, by containing coins in waiting in response to the communication time through a facsimile charging signal produced with a given period during the transmission of facsimile. CONSTITUTION:After a switching circuit SW makes switching from the channel circuit of a telephone set TEL to a FAX trasmission section FT, the transmission state is made by the insertion of original to the transmission section FT. Further, at the same time as the response of a called party, a channel charging signal is transmitted to a FAX device PFE from a repeater K-REP, and charging signals are transmitted every passage of unit communication time thereafter. Further, at the same time as the start of transmittion of the transmission section FT, the production of the FAX charging signal is made in the device PFE and the FAX charging in response to the facsimile communication time is made based on it. |
