PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of applied silver, to improve the suitability to desilvering in bleaching and to increase the developing peed by forming a green sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. a specified magenta coupler and a red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. a specified cyan coupler. CONSTITUTION:A sensitive material is provided with a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a magenta coupler represented by formula I [where R is acylamino, anilino or ureido; Ar is (substituted) phenyl; the substituent is >=1 halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl or CN; each of Za-Zd is (substituted) methine or -N=; especially Za is -N=; and the substituent is identical with said substituent] and a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a cyan coupler represented by formula II [where R1 is (substituted) alkylene or (substituted) alkenylene; R2 is (substituted) alkyl, (substituted) alkenyl, a (substituted) heterocyclic ring or the like; X is -S- or -SO-; n is 1-3; and A is a naphthol or phenol ring]. Thus, an image with fine color balance is obtd. by short-time development. |
