REEL MOTOR CONTROLLING CIRCUIT OF TAPE RECORDER

PURPOSE:To achieve a stable tape run by applying necessary tension to a tape and by braking a motor. CONSTITUTION:A signal proportional to the revolving period of a reel motor at a take-up side is obtained by a revolving period detector 4 and converted into a voltage which corresponds to the revolving, period by a revolving period/voltage converting circuit 6 after passing through a waveform shaping circuit 5. This voltage is passed through a low-pass filter 9 and a high-pass filter 10 to generate a control signal for making tape tension constant and a control signal for braking a reel motor 3, and they are passed through previously adjusted volume controls 11 and 13 and supplied to a mixing circuit 12 to be added together. The mixture signal is supplied to the reel motor 3 via an amplifier 8 to drive and control the motor.
