NEW MATERIAL:A 1-cycloalkylmethylpiperazine derivative expressed by formula I [R is phenyl having a substituent group (halogen, CF3, lower alkyl, lower alkoxl or OH); n is an integer 1-4] and a salt thereof. EXAMPLE:1-(Cyclopropylmethyl)-4-(4-fluorophenyl) piperazine dihydrochloride. USE:An analgesic agent. PROCESS:A halide expressed by formula 2 (X is halogen) is reacted with a piperazine derivative expressed by formula III, preferably in the presence of a basic compound, in a solvent to give the compound expressed by formula I. Alternatively, an acylpiperazine derivative expressed by formula IV is reduced with lithium aluminum hydride, preferably in a solvent, to give the compound expressed by formula I. |
