PURPOSE:To reduce a loss of water vapour and improve a heating efficiency found in a combustion burner by a method wherein an evaporation-proof material of which specific weight is lower than that of liquid to which a combustion burner is immersed and which is not evaporated at a boiling point of the liquid is floated on the liquid surface. CONSTITUTION:Liquid immersion type combustion unit may inject a hot combustion gas into the water or other types of liquid to be heated, from the injection hole 9 in the gas injecton column 7 with its bubble form by operating the combustion burner 6. After the liquid is directly heated, the combustion gas is discharged to the surrouding air form the discharge cylinder 12, and the heated liquid is transmitted to a desired place through a pair of pipes 11. In this case, number of balls 14 made of synthetic resin applied as an evporation-proof material having a lower specific weight than that of the heated liquid are floated closely on a surface of the heated liquid. Thereby, the evaporation of the liquid is prevented, the loss of water vapour is reduced and the heating efficiency of the combustion burner 6 is improved. |
