<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a synthetic resin composite band in which a core material and a covering material are securely bonded so that longitudinal cracks or the like will not occur, by integrally covering a nonorientatable resin around an orientatable resin to obtain a composite band, cooling the band, and thereafter orientating it axially. CONSTITUTION:Immediately after an orientatable resin (such as polypropylenes, polyesters, etc.) that can be given strength due to axially orientated molecules by stretching is melted and extruded into the core material 2, a nonorientatable resin (such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, high-pressure polyethylene, etc.) wherein molecules cannot be axially orientated by stretching is melted and extruded around the core material 2 to be integrated therewith and to obtain the composite band 5. After cooling the band 5, it is heated and stretched axially to obtain the intended synthetic resin composite band A.</p> |
